These materials must be provided to "faculty, students, and relevant staff members." Some of this language is identical to a statutory requirement that educational institutions might already meet regarding their potential liability as an "online service provider." In any event, the responsibility to prepare and disseminate copyright information is clear; institutions might consider developing websites, distributing printed materials, or tying the information to the distance-education program, among other possible strategies.
